Radio Slave reissues 2000 and One's 'Tropical Melons' with remixes from Bart Skils and Mark Broom. Dylan Hermelijn, aka 2000 and One, also contributes a new mix of the 2007 hit. Originally released via Hermelijn's 100% Pure in 2007 and championed by the likes of Sven Vath, 'Tropical Melons' remains a genre-blurring club cut that has lost none of it's impact, now re-released and building on the reissue of 2000 and One's 'Wan Poku Moro' on Rekids in 2024.Opening the record, Bart Skils adds to the already heavily synth-laced original, sharpening it's edges while preserving the lose-your-mind energy that made it such a standout. Mark Broom follows with his signature drum work: raw, muscular and driven by a jackin' groove as the original's dubbed-out melody washes over it's rhythm.
