Ace Lover is a New York based hip-hop MC. The hispanglish homeboy made a sudden splash with his debut single in 2000 when he was still a teenager. He was originally discovered by Indie record executive producer Phil Rust of Music Family at an MC battle in the Lower East Side of Manhattan at the age of 17. Phil helped develop him into a professional recording artist. Ace released two 12" vinyl records on the Music Family imprint which garnered a substantial amount of interest in the indie hip hop market worldwide. After his contract was up at Music Family he was quickly picked up by Cajo Communications & continued to release music through Fat Beats Distribution. During his stint with Cajo Communications he toured the USA & Canada & was named the next 100 upcoming artist to look out for by URB magazine.
