This Bongiovanni CD release finally renders justice to a singer forgotten by the recording industry and bereft of the notoriety that a quality career such as his should have afforded him. Piero Visconti was a tenor with everything in place to leave his mark on the opera history of the 1970s, 80s and beyond.
