This was Robert Johnson's very first release on 78rpm. "Kind Hearted Woman Blues" clearly shows the influence of Leroy Carr and is especially notable for featuring a guitar solo by Johnson unlike anything else he ever recorded. "Terraplane Blues" is one of the earliest blues songs to use the automobile as a metaphor for a woman.
