Curtis Ousley (born Curtis Montgomery, 2/7/34-8/13/71) performed under the stage name King Curtis. He was an American saxophonist known for rhythm & blues, rock & roll, soul, blues, funk and soul jazz. He was a bandleader, band member, session musician, musical director, and record producer.
