Kitty White was an acclaimed vocalist who sang jazz, blues, gospel, and spiritual. She made numerous critically-acclaimed albums for such labels as Mercury, EmArcy, Roulette, and World Pacific, and also sang on several movie soundtracks, most notably in "King Creole" with Elvis Presley. Gathered here for the first time are her many singles, which have never been heard since their original release in the 1950s. Among them are her chart hit "A Teenage Prayer", "Paradise", "Cy Me a River", "Winoweh", and "I'm Gonna Be a Fool Next Monday", plus her soundtrack performance of "Return to Paradise".
