Alex Metric & Ten Ven's Transmission 1 EP is their first release on Diynamic. Opening track "The Q", much like the closing track "Plates", are reminiscent of old UK garage raves with a hint of acid. Minuscule shifts in the pitch give that certain cassette-nostalgia, transporting the listener back to the early '90s. The centerpiece titled "Nebula" is a driving melodic deep house tune with a hefty break that brings things to a halt right at it's center, only to return with the catchy riff that is it's main feature.
