Enshrined in the Penguin Jazz Guide's "Core Collection", this quintessential platter of Sun Ra's late 1950s Chicago ensemble showcases the brilliant tenor sax stylings of John Gilmore, and introduces Arkestra mainstays Marshall Allen, Pat Patrick, and Ronnie Boykins.
