This is the first of several volumes of material drawn from the deeper corners of the studio's bulging tape vaults. The superb music spans almost a decade in the life of FAME studios. Among the featured artists can be found many of the most famous names in '60s Southern Soul, as well as several collector favorites that, but for the lack of a decent-sized hit, could have been just as famous.
